About Us:

Retina Creative Lab is a dynamic multimedia studio offering artists space to create, collaborate and co-work.

The studio is a short 15-minute drive from Providence and is located in the iconic Forbes Square plaza at 1235 Wampanoag Trail, East Providence, Rhode Island.

Retina Creative Lab is available to book by the hour/day with a variety of gear and lighting assistance included.

dan phillips

Daniel Phillips is the Owner/Creator of Retina Creative Lab and Self Tape RI, and portrait photographer located in Barrington, Rhode Island. Beginning his career in the darkroom, he photographed on 35mm film, which he still loves to do today. Dan takes great pride in creating photographs that convey beautiful emotions and capture dynamic light.

Justine Johnson is a Studio Contributor and the owner of Piquant Photo, based in Providence, Rhode Island. Splitting her career between advertising and photography, her work blurs the lines between commercial, sensual and edgy.
